Protea Garden
Protea Garden came from me playing with some gesso on a canvas, moving it around and playing with shapes in the ‘mushy goodness’ of wet gesso. The shapes formed and the direction was found for this glorious textural and colourful abstract adaption of the exquisite protea bloom.
In shades of the palest pink through to deep burgundy this artwork is an expressive use of artist quality acrylic paints that were applied with brushes, pallet knives and my fingers. This artwork is unstretched and unframed but I can arrange it for you at your request.
