Morning Mist
This gorgeous close up of my interpretation of gum leaves in the morning mist, one of 3 small works these artworks are 10” x 12 “ (25 x 30.5 cm) and are stretched canvas ready to hang.
The Misty Series are gorgeously soft artworks that have a calmness about them. They are mixed media pieces that incorporate loose, soft charcoal line drawings of abstract flowers and foliage. The calm, soft mint and blue background with the plum shades in the flowers and leaves have created an artwork that I loved from the very start. The flowers and foliage I have painted came from memory, actually very rarely do I use reference photos. The colour pallet came to me by accident as I was using up some unused paint on the cover of a file folder (don’t ever throw good paint away). My pallet had some greens, magenta and white and what it created on that cover was to me, glorious!

THE FINISH
The painting has been created on artist quality 100% cotton canvas and finished with gloss varnish, protecting the longevity and enhancing the vibrancy of the colours.
The painting extends around the sides of the canvas so the artwork is enjoyed from every angle. If you are purchasing an un-stretched canvas I can arrange the framing and stretching if you desire. International orders will be sent un-stretched, unframed and rolled in tube.
The paints are artist quality acrylic paints.
PRINTS
Our prints are quality reproductions of the original artworks. The inks used are of archival quality and the papers are quality, heavy (usually 300 gsm) fine art paper. When you receive your print do not handle the front as it will create finger prints that may discolour over time. We suggest you wear cotton gloves when placing it into your frame.
AUTHENTICITY
Your painting will be hand signed on the front and back, with its title and date written on the rear of the canvas. You will also receive a certificate of authenticity.

International
A $35AUD flat rate will be charged for international shipping. All originals being shipped internationally will arrive un-stretched, unframed and rolled in tube for safe shipping. Works on paper will be shipped flat.
