Fruit and Veg Series
Fruit and Veg is a new series that I created using bright watercolour inks. These loose interpretations of the fruits and vegetables will brighten any home, cafe or office space.
These artworks are printable on paper or canvas. The paper can be easily popped into a standard frame and the canvas is stretched and ready to hang on the wall. The canvas can also be framed to complete a gorgeous wall decoration.
GRAPES: When I painted 'grapes' I had in mind a gorgeous vineyard maybe in the south of France, it’s rocky hillside and dry terrain that produce exquisite wines, the grapes being harvested and crushed by hand (or by foot) in those big vats. Grapes would sit beautifully alongside 'Pomegranate' or 'lemons' to create a warm corner to your room to dream of far away places.
WATERMELON: Watermelons are one of those fruits that bring feelings of hot summer days, juicy cool freshness and young children playing in the garden. This artwork will bring a freshness to your decor and teamed with other artworks in this series you will bring those glorious feelings into your home. I loved painting this, it has a lovely flow of the watercolours mixing on the paper shade of greens on the skin and pinks, reds and peach in the juicy flesh.
STRAWBERRY: Strawberries to me are the fruit that decorate cakes or pavlovas, sitting proud on the top like a gorgeous crown. I have just started to grow my own in the garden and their taste is so much more delightful than the supermarket ones. Picking my own inspired this artwork and it was a joy to paint.
LEMONS: Lemons have a freshness about them, the colour and their smell are both a favourite of mine. I love them in food, little lemon cakes or a glorious lemon meringue pie, I am there for it. The freshness of lemon zest is the smell and feeling I had when painting these beauties.
POMEGRANATE: I love a gorgeous pomegranate, such an exquisite colour and the little orbs of goodness they contain. I love adding them to a salad, their freshness create a burst of delight. Painting this was a joy, the little beads contained in the centre of the pomegranate were fun and the subtle colours of the flesh around them are the softest blush imaginable.
CARROT: My dog loves carrot!!!! They are his favourite thing to eat and play with. The carrot was fun to paint I loved the vibrant orange and the loose interpretation of their floppy leaves.

Printed on artist quality 340 gsm 100% cotton canvas. As a standard, all our prints are shipped unframed – they are carefully rolled, delicately packaged and delivered in a protective tube.
The sizes listed below refer to the size of the printed artwork. Canvas prints are printed with a 5cm border (in addition to the printed artwork) for ease of handling when stretching and framing.

Printed on 310 gsm 100% cotton rag archival paper. As a standard, all our prints are shipped unframed – they are carefully rolled, delicately packaged and delivered in a protective tube.
