This is one of the first pieces in the ‘Eucalyptus’ series I painted inspired by a glorious gum tree in my neighbourhood, I started with a loose background of colour inspired by the leaves, texture and movement in a gentle breeze. The flowers are an expression of glorious blooms in shade of plum and rose.
